Nutrisystem Week 8 – Easter Candy was No Match for Me!

The Eighth Week………

I am in my eighth week on the Nutrisystem diet. I am still having issues with my Achilles tendon. I am in fact going to get an MRI on it today to see if I need surgery or not. I know if I could exercise then my progress would be much faster. I really want to get back into exercise. I like that the food alone CAN work, but I know how much faster my progress would be if I could exercise. I will keep everyone updated on my MRI report. Part of me does not want surgery, but the other part of me just wants to get all of this over and back to a normal physically active lifestyle.

One thing I am proud of over the last week was my ability to JUST SAY NO to Easter candy. Cadbury eggs are my favorite, and I always look forward to having a couple each year. I was actually able to control myself and not eat any this year. I would see them sitting in my kids baskets as I walked by and would just tell myself, “Will it really be worth it?” Each time I was able to convince myself that losing weight was more important than having Easter candy. If you missed any of my first few Nutrisystem posts, please read them HERE so you can see where I started.
PROGRESS SO FAR:
Starting Weight: 165
Current Weight: 159.8
Total Loss: 5.2 pounds!!!
So happy to have left the 160s!  I wish things were faster, but with no exercise at all this is not too bad I guess.

Here’s to a NEW WEEK! I still need to work on water intake and recording my food. Please leave me a COMMENT telling me what accomplishments you had this week in your journey to be healthy!
